Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of HourSync, a Google Sheets™ add-on that imports your Clockify time entries into your own spreadsheet.
HourSync is operated by Daniele Barbieri Luigi, an independent developer. By installing or using HourSync you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the add-on. Contact: danibarbers13@gmail.com.
1. The service
HourSync imports your Clockify time-tracking data into Google Sheets™. The free tier provides manual import. The optional paid Pro tier adds filters, a per-project Summary sheet and a scheduled daily refresh.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for your Clockify API key and for the data you import.
- You agree to use HourSync in compliance with Clockify's and Google's own terms of service.
- You must not misuse the add-on, attempt to circumvent the Pro paywall, or use it for unlawful purposes.
3. Pro subscription and payment
- The HourSync subscription is sold by Daniele Barbieri Luigi (not by Google) and billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout (currently €19/month), plus any applicable taxes. The total is always shown before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- You may cancel at any time from the link in your Stripe receipt; Pro access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
- A 14-day free trial of Pro starts the first time you use a Pro feature. It requires no card and there is nothing to cancel. When it ends, Pro features require an active subscription.
What happens if you never pay. HourSync gives you 14 days free, starting from your first import. After that, importing stops until you subscribe. Every row already written into your sheet stays exactly where it is: nothing is deleted, nothing is locked, and the spreadsheet keeps working even if HourSync disappears tomorrow.
4. Refunds
If HourSync is not for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. No form, no questions. Beyond that window, payments for elapsed billing periods are non-refundable except where required by law. Consumers in the EU/EEA retain any statutory withdrawal rights that apply to digital services. Refunds are handled by us directly, not by Google.
5. Dependence on third-party services
HourSync depends on Clockify, Google and Stripe, whose availability and policies we do not control. If Clockify changes, restricts or prices its API differently, some features may stop working. We will say so plainly rather than let the add-on fail silently.
6. No warranty
HourSync is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of HourSync. You remain responsible for keeping your own backups of important data.
8. Termination
You may stop using HourSync at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access in cases of abuse or violation of these Terms.
9. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
